We had spent extensive time on theoretical preparation without practical implementation. Our breakthrough came when we deciphered the build system and source organization of RedoxOS. Since we operated on NixOS initially, we transitioned to a conventional Linux distribution to streamline the development process. Countless cycles of container deletion and reconstruction marked our iterative attempts to build RedoxOS from source.
